Welcome to the blog, where are you from?

Your entries made me smile. One of my earliest running memories is watching my dad run the Marine Corps marathon years ago. And all I really remember from it is how much we made fun of him for getting beat by a lady pushing a stroller. He claimed it helped pull her down the hills :)

Welcome to the blog, Hope you win "the lottery!"

Welcome!! You entries made me laugh, I've spent all winter running w/out the kiddos and just last week decided to try it out again since it was nice weather. Went 1 mile and called it good! Those jogging strollers are one good workout!! Keep it up, you'll be marathoning in no time.

New York is a more entertaining marathon. St. George is fun too. NYC, you will never forget that one.... for better or worse. St. George is probably a better 1st marathon. It's not the Zoo of NYC.

Good luck....

Pushing single jogging stroller. Was a tough day. Tired legs. Think I might aim for four days run and three days rest next week. Will do strength/x-training instead.

Pushing babies in joggers are a lot of work. Four of my daughters have baby joggers and boy do they get a workout. Keep it up and you'll be running marathons before long.

On treadmill. This run was hard; my legs were tired and I had to take a few 1 minute walk breaks, which is not usual. I also don't like to do more than a 3-mile run on the treadmill. It just seems to drag, even with music or tv.

Great run. Rested, strong legs. I think pushing the jogging stroller really is making a difference!

Tired legs, combined with wind and pushing the double jogger made this a hard three miles!!!

Pushing double. Think it should count extra when I am pushing both girls because legs get really tired. At least better burn more calories!!

Didn't feel like I was going unusually slow but my time shows that I was slower than normal. Had some weird pain in my glutes. Will have to pay attention to that.

On the treadmill. Crazy how much longer it seems to take than running outside. Also did strength training.

On the treadmill. Took it a little easier. Trying to keep legs from being sore for my first 10K on Saturday.

Good luck on your first 10K. I think it is great that you can work from home. Girls are fun. I have 7 daughters and 1 son. All my daughters run. Last weekend 3 of my daughters and I ran the Ogden 1/2 marathon. You remind me of some of my daughters.

Ran/walked on the treadmill. Trying to take it easy on my legs because it seems like they are always a little sore. Would like to run on Saturday without them hurting from the moment I cross the starting line. Started a new blog today: runnersgut.blogspot.com. Between that and this blog, I hope I won't ever have any excuses and will have plenty of motivation.

Wanted to finish in under an hour. Almost made it, but slowed on the sixth mile -- felt really sick to my stomach. I think I may have prevented it with a little more water intake before the race.

Asked my hubby today when my legs will stop hurting. It seems like they are sore all the time. Any input on this would be helpful. My sore legs are the only thing holding me back!!

Had a migraine today. I was going to take a rest day on Friday but will count tonight instead. My headache made me sick to my stomach so running wasn't going to happen.

good job..I've never run that much on a treadmill...but I have run around the block 15 times day after day and that's bad too.

On the treadmill again but think I found the key to surviving: speedwork (Yasso 800s) + music (not TV!!).  It went a lot faster than when I watch TV, and I was more focused on what I was doing and how I felt.

I struggled through miles six and eight but made it. Had one big hill that slowed me to a walk, but I picked up the pace as soon as I hit the top. Finished wondering if I would really ever be able to do 26.2...

I can finally see that I am improving. It was a great run, especially considering two of the three miles were in a pretty steady rainstorm and I ran eight miles yesterday. I haven't checked my history to know for sure, but I am pretty sure it was my fastest three mile run to date.
