Have only run in 5K races. Running my first 10K, 10 mile and 1/2 marathon this summer.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Registered for the St. George and New York marathons. Lottery results are in May and June. Keeping my fingers crossed!!
Long-Term Running Goals:
Want to be a runner forever. Hope to set a good example for my two daughters.
Personal:
I am married and have two little girls. I work from home as a writer and editor. It is my dream job and allows me to be home with my girls all day. Before having my girls, I taught fitness and yoga classes. I started running when my first daughter was about six months old.

Asked my hubby today when my legs will stop hurting. It seems like they are sore all the time. Any input on this would be helpful. My sore legs are the only thing holding me back!!
Had a migraine today. I was going to take a rest day on Friday but will count tonight instead. My headache made me sick to my stomach so running wasn't going to happen.
On the treadmill again but think I found the key to surviving: speedwork (Yasso 800s) + music (not TV!!). It went a lot faster than when I watch TV, and I was more focused on what I was doing and how I felt.
